Hi! I’m Andy.

I’m a designer and independent event producer with a weird internet career.

Right now I’m working on Heck, a craft non-alcoholic brewery, with my friend and head brewer Justin Miller. We make exceptional non-alcoholic craft beer right here in Portland, Oregon.

For most of my career I’ve produced my own independent events. In 2012, I co-founded XOXO, an experimental festival for independent artists and creators from the internet, with my friend and co-organizer Andy Baio. We produced our last festival in 2024.

I also opened a zero-proof cocktail bar pop-up called Suckerpunch, produced Build, an annual design festival for web designers in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and published The Manual, a design journal for web designers.

I also work with companies and organizations on their community and events strategy through my studio, Regular. I’ve led production on events including Duolingo Duocon, BackerKit Bond, and Framer Loupe, and have consulted on projects for clients including Adobe, Slack, Figma, and Ableton.
